700+ Aha, I lied! ;o

Cwmfen was not the only wild creature stalking the moon’s delicate yet intoxicating enchantment. There was difference though, because the male, a black ghost without colours in the absent light, was chasing something made out of flesh and blood. Something had changed, and when the day had left the world behind along with the majority of its inhabitants (or so it seemed by the emptiness of it all), true colours not meant for the eye, but the soul, rose forth and called upon all those demons that stirred in the heart of the living. Demons and desires, the wild bottomless emotions that existed within them all, but that too often was locked away and never to touch the surface. Haku had changed since he came here, but he was still the same in many ways. The toxic deep within the tree did not dissolve into nothing unless the tree went down with it. His mind had been filled up with other magnificent and less great things, but the body did not forget that easily, especially not when the cold breeze made sure to fill his nostrils with perfume as he had crossed the path few moments after her. Her scent had been thick and seductive as ever before, and the beast within had stirred and woken up at last, after so many moons.

He had the choice, but there was no point in trying to resist, so the dark male with the enchanting eyes had instantly started stalking the invisible trail of roses. Haku did not believe in God, but he did not deny any possibilities. He knew of the darker beings that inhabited this earth. He knew of devil and demons, corrupt and loving. Surely there was more out there. A melodic song rose up from the forested area in front of him, and he was left to ponder if a northern light would pulse and twist out in a response to the enchanting sound. A series of simple cracks removed two of his paws and granted him a simple pair of feet. He was not sure why he had shifted, as travelling on all four was often easier than walking on two. He supposed the encouraging voice inside his head knew what was expected of him, and he went along with it as always. This might not be right, but Haku had a wonderful way of ignoring reasoning. This was his world after all, he had not forgotten. It was only a game, and when it ended he would return home to the flames where he had come from.

Haku did not hear any voices, but a soft gasp from a young woman’s lips caused chocolate ears painted dark by the night to flicker. Electricity sent torturing waves of desire down his spine. It seemed the Lilium of Dahlia would never learn. He was officially unreachable, so why was he here? Instead of silver and gold, he longed for the soft pelt of the night and the orbs of the twin moons. Something cold and wet touched his nose, and he lifted his gaze up to the black velvet. Snow. His concentration stumbled for only a few moments as his mind went to the falling snowflakes, and the sound that instantly rose close by announced that he was closer to the pitch black pack member than he had been aware of. Eyes found what they were looking for, and he let his lungs empty, creating a relieved sigh. It was her, she was here. It reminded him of their last private meeting, and caused desire to roam about inside him even more violently. Now when he finally was here, now what?

Whispers found his fluffy ears easily, and the male let a pale smile enter his face. Maybe. He stepped closer, ignoring the warning snarl from the female. Actually he was somewhat hoping she would lunge at him. He ALWAYS got what he wanted, and tonight he would, because it was what the voices told him. His pose was not half as aggressive this night, but there still was something that stirred the surface, something that surely would tell the female that he was not as tame as he looked like back there in Dahlia either.
