The ferocity in her face wavered when the white orbs beheld he who was present. Haku.... How ironic, she felt, that they should meet again in so similar a manner. Her mind wandered to their past encounter. So similar were the circumstances, for even then he had stumbled upon her in an ancient ritual. That too had been the beginning of a new life, and so this would be also... She felt anxiety while thinking upon those long past words. Beauty? She did not think so. Beneath her woad markings, she was nothing more than a piece of night, a shard of shadow that blended with the rest of the dark world. Her muscles tensed as he stepped forward, and she found that she had done the same. The distance between them was more than several spear lengths, but that space would soon mean nothing. There was simply too much to be filled in that space to allow it to be empty.

The white orbs regarded him warily. She knew what those voices pushed her to do, but she was afraid. She did not want it. The crow wolf had taken her purity from her—she was nothing special now. She had nothing to offer the chocolate male. But his desire was thick in the air, its scent overpowering. It pulled at her own desire, like a hook in her belly. Exhaling lightly, the black female attempted to relieve the desire that was beginning to consume her. Her breath quickened, and her efforts were in vain. If anything, the pull was stronger. And deep within her chest cavity, she felt a gelidity grip her. A bitter smile palely graced her maw. It seemed as if all things had been planned, as if there was a Fate, for they had determined now that she let him in—she needed his warmth, and he would take from her that which he desired in return for it.

And she would give it to him.

The distance between them was closed as she moved. Cwmfen’s movements were fluid, ethereal. While seemingly tranquil, it appeared as if she strutted, with an untamed soul, displaying to him her body. Her curves, her powerfully built, lithe body—all of it—was now offered to him. The woad-marked tail flickered behind her, like a tongue testing the air. As she closed that distance, she allowed herself to observe the earthen male. She observed him and allowed herself to feel envy towards Firefly. He was a formidable creature handsomely made. Many scars marred his body—from battles and some, she suspected, from self-infliction—but she regarded them as possessions won. She stopped when there was hardly any space between them. The white orbs were downcast, and she seemed gaze upon his chest. The woad-marked fae wondered at the strength beneath the fur and skin. Her hands wanted to run along his torso, to feel the sinew, but she refrained and did not touch him. She was close enough now to see the branded pentagram. Her breath quickened as she breathed in his scent—his desire.

Cwmfen nic Graine’s white eyes turned up towards those juxtaposing blue eyes. The warrior felt her fear as strongly as the desire that burned within her, but she discarded her timidity and bore herself bare to him. She feared that he would not take her, but she feared too that he would. While what she was about to do was not new to her body, her mind was still that of a virgin, for the rape those months ago had been of a brutal nature. The she-wolf was still unaware of the act of love. She knew not how she should explain her need to him. She knew not how she would respond to him. She knew not how she should otherwise offer herself so indignantly to him, and yet she needed him to dominate her so completely.

The young woman wondered whether it was the Ancients who drove her needs, or simply her own desire for him. Swallowing her own pride, the warrior relaxed before the Lilium. "Haku..." The alto voice was small, almost a whisper, and she could find no other words. Silence fell softly, as the snow about them drifted silently to the frozen earth.
