Two yellow orbs set in a red face followed the young one as he bolted away. Mentally, Dawali sighed. If he seriously could not cope with the duties of this pack then he might not be suited for sharing their life. He would have to be approached later, and put into place, and Dawali always dreaded such things. Now, however, the young boy had earned it, and the sub-leader was very much certain that Kujo knew that himself. His eyes moved towards the femme again when she spoke, giving a name to the lovely face, and a pack name at that. He'd heard the name of the pack, although he did not know where they were. Very discreetly, he breathed in her scent, so he could remember the Dahlia smell should he encounter anyone else, or their packlands. Of course, Dawali quickly nodded, bending his head so the nose pointed towards the ground, and he lingered in this position for three or four seconds, whilst he spoke his name. It was a formal greeting, but none other would suffice - this encounter had been very useful already. Dawali Amara, Bone Bearer of AniWaya.

Quickly enough after he had given his name, she revealed more details of use for him, and the awkwardness that had given him a break through the presence of the boy came back with full force. Now it was only them, in conversation, and she was very beautiful and polite. And, he noticed now, her stomach was shaped in a clear bulk - she was expecting. His eyes flickered to it and back to her face, although it would probably not go unnoticed. It wasn't really hard to see, but he had been preoccupied with other thoughts until now. Now, women in general made him awkward, and beautiful women even more so. Pregnancy was an utterly female thing, and it made him increasingly insecure. Even when Mischka had been expecting, and with their children at that, he had felt this awkwardness - despite how she had scolded him for it. Added up it made him want to gulp with uncomfortableness, although the urge was subdued - he would not deliberately make a fool out of himself. He would probably do it anyways sooner or later, although he naturally did not wish to speed up the process. His respect for her grew, however, for the information she offered, and once again he bent his head - although this time not as a greeting. Thank you, Firefly. The information might come in handy.

She presented the question of who they were, and before he could think he had already replied, although how much sense it made he did not know. What was there to say about them, anyways? They were here, they had feathers in their manes and they built huts and great fires, kept horses and made tools to tend their crops - crops who would, in spring, dominate the fields here. Or at least, that was the hope. We are AniWaya, a tribe from quite far away from here. We've traveled to find a new home, and that is what we have found here. I am the sub-leader, of this tribe. His eyes looked at her, sought the green orbs, although much out of politeness. He had no wish to lock his gaze onto hers, as her presence made him so awkward. Lucky was Kujo, who had left, he thought. A restlessness settled in him, the faithful companion of the awkwardness, and he felt the urge to excuse himself and go. He would do no such thing, however, but it would be a relief once the encounter was over.
