Dawali nodded and smiled, and though she wasn't directly teasing now as before he thought he could still sense the underlying teasing. For a moment his eyes met the ground in thought, for he - too - hoped that would be the case. Already he had Tayui and Leland to support him, hopefully, and of course the community would be helpful whenever it was needed. There was no person he might give his heart to, but as long as his daughters lived he did not believe he needed such a person.
