where there was once nothing

She did little by smile at the words of the male, she wasn't exactly one for safety but the male didn't need to know everything about her just yet. She flicked her eyes off into the distance as she wondered if anyone in the pack had actually noticed that the higher ranked mother to be had been absent for quite some time. She gave a twitch of her tail as she dismissed her thoughts and with the soft smile returned her eyes back to the male as he graced her with the strange farewell.

She lowered her own head slightly and spoke softly. "The same Dawali.." she hoped that she would see him again yet she left the thought just where it lingered as she turned back towards the slim opening in the barb wire and began her long tramps back towards the lands of Dahlia de Mai. She hoped that she wouldn't begin to feel worn before making it back to the packlands, she already was tired enough to find a place to just curl up in, but she didn't want to hear it from the others if she didn't appear back at their doorstep like a good little girl.

She shook her head to herself and braced for a long and weary trail back, but she dreamed of curling up before the fireplace, a nice thought to keep her determined and on the path.
