The woman was in a foul mood, she had been since the discovery that she was indeed carrying the squirming parasites that most females embraced, lgrew attached to and even graced with loving names. Born to a father who already had bastard children roaming in the lands it seemed, how many she wasn't certain but it was obvious that there was atleast one litter out there besides this one that was weighing down her once slim figure. She was pissed this day for while out stalking the bloodied form of the rabbit she now carried the growing girth had begun to get in her way for the first time, almost causing her to lose the damn meal.
Through the coppery taste of blood she could smell the scent of the Lilium and that did nothing to raise her spirits. Growling deep in her throat her fangs drove into the once white fur of the bunny as she narrowed her emerald orbs and moved swiftly towards the one who claimed her as mate. The words he spoke to the small form that seemed to be closer to death than life were words she knew that seemed to linger right on the edge of his sanity. Few had survived the sudden snap of the male and though she could care less for the blood on his paws, blood she too shared.. some stupid twisted instinct that came with her load of parasites and emotions kicked into effect, and at the perfect moment, for the child had mouthed back to the Lilium.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you child.." Tossing the limp form of the rabbit before the nose of the kid Firefly narrowed her eyes and stepped between the two, her long silky tail catching Haku under the throat and curling along his muzzle as she twisted her body to the side, granting the male a perfect view of her rump and the pudge that was forming along her abdomen. "He might just take more than you offer.." Her sparkling orbs turned to catch the sapphire orbs of the male for a brief second as she gave him a look to hold the beast in his place. She would use every bit she had to drive the bastard crazy, hell, he probably wouldn't even notice the change in her figure, or he'd just assume it was something new for him, a change in the routine so to speak. "Then again, you'd probably give him his every wish.. to keep your worthless life." She let her tail caress his throat back and forth as she spoke, her scent enveloping his senses as she turned away from the male.
"Already making the wrong choices kid..." she said with a tutting sound of disappointment. She knew that the pack needed new flesh but the poor helpless kid probably wasn't the kind they needed. She was more likely the kind to hold them back but a life was a life.. as long as it didn't interfere with her business too much it didn't matter. She leaned down, the scent of blood thick in the air as she spoke softly to the kid with a wicked smile on her lips. "Do you even know what he is.." she hissed. The monster who was her mate, the second in command.. she'd hate to have to hid ethe carcass if he went to far today, but she couldn't let Cercelee find out if he killed the mouthy brat... that wouldn't do if she threw Haku out of the pack.. she already didn't want his damn children that grew in her womb after the truth had been discovered, but to raise them alone was more than she could stand.
