Then poof Firefly made her always astounding entrance, and Haku’s ears flattened fully, because he knew very well that she had not been happy lately, but she had not given him the reason why. His mouth stayed shut and her tail hit him in the face well on purpose. He gritted his teeth instantly, eyes attempting to burn holes through the gold and silver female’s skull. What kind of show was this? Her new altered version of a warm up cancan dance with her tail? Haku resisted the urge to snap and rip at his mate’s tail. Who the hell did Firefly think she was? Prodding around playing a queen in the face of one of her leaders. Mate or not,... everything had gone from bad to worse after they had become mates.
