There was a small girl with him. Frowning slightly, perplexed, he trotted over to the boy and his small companion. His son, smiling all the while, intercepted him. They stood away from the girl for a few moments, Ezekiel attempting to explain what little he knew, and Gabriel listened intently. Lykoi. No father’s name. Not Andre, from what had been gathered. Curious.
indent The doggish male eyed the girl, looking for any signs to give away her heritage. The scent she carried was from Phoenix Valley. He smelled Iskata on her, heavily. That was even more curious. “Zana, right? My son says you might want to stay here to figure out who your father is.” His voice was calm, even, reassuring. Hopefully it would help her remain calm.
