For Endy~!

At long last, winter had arrived. Autumn had done it's duty, stripping many trees of their colorful leaves and slowly preparing the lands for the cold months to come. The frost had already settled into Bleeding Souls, giving one last warning to the creatures that the time had come. The past few weeks had begun the snow season, dusting some of the lands with a light powder and covering other parts with a white blanket. It was snowing now in the pack lands, with winds to accompany it and bring the temperature down even further. Yes, winter was the season where many would remain in their shelters to avoid the harsh climates. And if Kieran was going to be holed up inside the pack caves, he would make the best of it.

He was sure many of his packmates would be spending a fair amount of time inside the cozy community den, so he thought it would be nice to spruce it up a bit. Give it more of a homely feel, perhaps. The male had an idea of decorating the caves, and while it wasn't his forte, he figured he could have some fun with it. So, on a few of his trips to the human city (which were becoming more and more frequent), he scavenged whatever supplies he could find. He had discovered a couple half- and quarter-full buckets of old paint, and managed to gather a couple things to mix up some dyes and brought them back home with decoration in mind. A few other trinkets and handy objects had been packed away into his den for future use. Now seemed as good of a time as any to start this little project. Maybe he would find some others who would take interest in the little event.

Kieran carried the make-shift wooden box containing paints and brushes that were in relatively good condition out to the central cavern. He stopped near the path that led deeper into the caverns and plopped the crate onto the ground against the wall. He glanced around at the large cavern, trying to pick out an ideal place to start. The dark wolf reached down into the box at his feet and pulled out one of the small brushes. Twirling the brush around absent mindedly, he contemplated what he would do now. He had everything he needed; the only thing left was to start. While he had made plans to decorate, he hadn't thought about exactly how he would go about doing it.
