She hadn't wanted to ask him that, to make him feel like he should push her. Siobhan often felt compelled to do things for other people just because they asked her to; she felt guilty telling them no. If she could do something for somebody, shouldn't she do it? If she was able to? Some days she was tired and didn't want to do anything at all, though. Those days she tried to tell people no more often.
"You is pushes Siobhan? That is the best idea, she thinks. Yes it is. But...you is strong enough? And not too tired?" She waved her feet back and forth, trying once more to move the swing. "Siobhan saw that the humans did this...she thought that she would try it too. You has seen this before? You...Siobhan does not know your name, what to call you at all!"
