She couldn't help but roll her eyes at the whole possiblity that Siobhan would do it for Zeke. Zana didn't understand why Siobhan was so attached to the older boy, yeah he had taken them both in.. but Zana didn't tail him like a little lost shadow and she found it more than annoying when everytime she turned around the scarlet eyed girl was doing just that. Atleast it meant Siobhan was out of her way she thought crossly before sighing.
Zana just stared at Siobhan, unsure if she really believed that the other girl wouldn't laugh at her if she did tell her the truth. She sat there sniffling a few moments as her little bottom lip jutted out as she tried to decide if the other girl was lying or not. Finally she gave up and just lowered her head as she muttered. "Stupid gulls, they tink they own the beach.." One tear rolled off her nose as she sniffled. "They attacks me when I try and plays there.." Ok, so she probably had started it all by attempting to chase them off so many times, but really, sh'ed never hurt them!
Zana raised her eyes slightly, daring the older snowy pelted girl to laugh at her now. She might be small but if Siobhan was going to laugh at her after promising she wouldn't then Zana was going to let her have it. She was tired of being picked on and feeling like she wasn't worth anything just because she was so tiny.
