A peculiar sound that Caliber never heard before echoed through the lands of AniWaya, ears immediately perking up and catching the strange sound. It was none like she heard before, nothing remotely like a howl, bark, yip, or anything to vocally be emitted from the throat of a wolf or Luperci. At first, she wanted to say it was some call of a bird, but living in the wild and adapting to many sounds over the years, that sound had to be some sort of bird that was a new species.

Caliber wasn't up to anything remotely important at this time. For the past couple of days she had been embarking on her own travels throughout the new lands to sniff things out and see what it was like. She had to admit that these lands were a little quiet, tranquil, but Caliber knew by feeling that there was definitely much activity going on in the Tribe lands, whether one seen them physically or not. The spirits were at work, like they have always been, masterminding their invisible magic upon the inhabitants of these lands. As to where the real inhabitants were in the living flesh, well, Caliber had not ran into one just yet after her acceptance into AniWaya. Curious to know what those of these lands were up to in their daily lives here, Caliber hoped to at least run into Catherine again, or perhaps the ebony female whom granted her acceptance here.

Feeling the curiosity of her natural wolf nature tug at the end of her tail, the three year old bounded off in the direction of where the sound was heard. It took some time to where her nose caught the distinct whiff of one whom she met in these lands. Catherine... she's close... This puzzled her in the back of her mind, thinking how odd of a sound would be emitting from Catherine. Regardless, she came down wind of both Catherine, Dawali, and the herd of deer that resided by, a scent faintly masked in the breeze.

Although the whistling sound wouldn't do justice as to who made that sound exactly, there was something by the snuff of deer in the air that told her of a congregation of prey. It was easy for wolves, and basically any creatures, to realize the situation of a hunt. Coming in swift and silent like the liquid shadows of the night themselves, Caliber took refuge by Catherine not too far away. Although it seemed that Catherine and Dawali were presently in their Optime forms, Caliber remained in her standard Lupus form, how she always liked to be at this point in time. However, if needs be to where they needed her to shift in order to make use of tools for this hunt (if they decided to use any), Caliber would certainly be ready to shift. Although she had left a makeshift elk hide nap sack back in an unmarked spot, her were hands were clever in manipulating any tools that came to the touch. For now, she remained and acted just like how a shadow would, lingering in the backdrop and watching with interested eyes and ears to catch any sudden motion or command given.
