Catherine was in a tree - he had heard she did enjoy climbing, although he hadn't seen it for himself. It looked somewhat strange, to him, although she seemed content where she was, and perhaps in this situation it was all very good. Her hand made a motion across her throat after pointing at the deer, and Dawali's face changed into a question mark - but then the young girl drew out her bow. Eager, now that he understood her attention, Dawali too brought his forward to his hands, found an arrow and put it at the ready. He didn't know what strategy Catherine had in mind, but she seemed able enough to signalize them. As he had been doing this another had arrived, the newly joined femme from a few days back! Dawali was enthusiastic, and quickly nodded to the female, with a smile. He was glad to see her, and eagerly looked around to see if there were more coming in. Gvihita sat on his shoulders, bristling with excitement: she always enjoyed the hunt. This was perfect timing! They would need a deer tongue for the coming ceremonies anyways - Catherine couldn't have picked a better time to discover these animals. Dawali's eye fixed on a young female grazing, oblivious of their presence, and then looked up to Catherine in the tree again. Dawali himself had much more experience with hunting, he was sure, but as the situation was it was easiest to let the girl stay in command. Otherwise they'd risk the prey getting away. Tense, with adrenaline at the ready, eager to be spent - Dawali waited. It would take some time to time it right.
