Mornings and evenings were always the young adults favorite time of the day to spend wandering around. As he hobbled down stairs to the kitchen He raised his arms stretching. He reached up and touched the broken lighting device on the wall, batting the metal chain playfully. Garnet was fast asleep, her stomach ever growing. He began to look around for something to eat and as he looked into the cupboard his ears perked in surprise. The food had been moved around. Sniffing a he caught the scent of a member he did not remember, had they done this? Grabbing the carcass of freshly skinned rabbit he ripped off a leg and headed for the door, contently following the scent.
Nibbling away as he walked into the morning sun he couldn't help but feel relaxed. He had been in these lands since he was barely a teenager. Every inch of the forest was familiar to him, every tree every rabbit hole and every rock. He knew Crimson Dreams like the hair on his muzzle. With a final mouth full he threw the leg bone to the ground and rolled his shoulders as his bones began to ache slightly, changing. His spine rounded slightly as his arms became legs and they reached for the solid ground. Slowly, he felt every joint snap, shorten and adjust to a smaller, four legged form. With a yawn he wiggled his new form around., his silver chain and the gold half heart hung a little closer to his neck, moving around less against his winter coat. This was the lowest of his forms he had been in since he became able to shift thanks to his adoptive father, Lucifer. He never returned to his tiny wolf size, even now he stood as large as a small adult bear in his halfling form.
He started at a slow jog forwards, breathing deeply the smell of this mysterious member. As the scent strengthened he returned to his leisurely walking pace and began his visual search. A rabbits cry caught his attention and with a smile and a leap he broke past a grouping of trees. There before the coal male was the stranger he was looking for. A black female with a freshly caught rabbit.
“Hey there!” He greeting trotting up to the wolfess,
“I haven't seen you around. I'm Jazper Rhiannon-Knight.”
