The weather finally seemed to be letting go of the cold. Spring, though still a long way away, was something he was looking forward to more and more. He could already see the changes coming into the library. They had been subtle at first, just less dust on the shelves, the books moved from one part to another, organised by subject and author, neat little stacks of knowledge. But now the windows were always open and the curtains drawn, or whatever was left of them. He wanted to find someone who could help him with it, actually. He wondered if anyone in Dahlia could sow. That would be such a handy trick.

Because of the clear weather Lubomir was outside reading. It was an old, dusty book with the title Anna Karenina fading on the front cover. He enjoyed the story. It was full of intrigue, forbidden love and a setting he knew very little about, which only meant that he wanted to whet his appetite even more. The sun would break through the clouds now and again, casting long shadows around him, but still he read on. The grey male had managed to attain a measure of inner peace and he'd be damned if he let it go.
