It was true that the more things changed, the more they stayed the same. Naniko was beginning to see a pattern in her life that followed that rule--things did change, for good and for bad, but they didn't affect her quite as much as they had in the past. It felt like all of the changes just melted together to make something that did stay the same. Relatively. There was still the pack and her family, that would never change. They had changed from Twilight Vale to Crimson Dreams, but it was still their pack and they were still her family.
She came out of the cave and into the sunlight, shaking some snow out of her white fur. The pretty necklace that Jazper had given her sat in the middle of her chest, reflecting the rays back into the surrounding wooded area. There were a few wolves already gathered for the meeting and she joined their numbers, taking a spot near Brooklyn and Anu. Things with her and Anu were changing too, and she wasn't sure where they were going exactly, but that was alright. There was more important things that needed to be announced today, things that the pack needed to know.
