Blue eyes watched as each pack member made their entrance. Brooklyn, then Naniko followed by a gentleman that she had yet to meet. Of course Kansas fell in place beside his mate, Jazper and Ehno followed as well as the rest of the current pups. There were many she knew, and few she didn’t, but she gave each a smile, waiting ever patiently for the two lead females to begin.
She listened as Savina spoke, and the room kept their attention on the onyx as she told the exciting news. Though it was fairly obvious, Anu already knew the couple was expecting. A large grin passed her features as she thought of it. She wasn’t surprised that pack relations was also a hot topic, she hadn’t herself felt a tension but fully understood the importance of the bond they needed with their neighbors.
Her gaze drifted to the alabaster Commander, and she fought to keep her face smiling. Holding strong, Anu encountered her first surprise. Savina had spoken of her taking more responsibility within the pack, but she wasn’t expecting to join the two of them in the pack leadership as the third in command. It was a difficult feeling to decipher, no longer truly understanding her relationship with their alpha but still being entrusted with such responsibility.
