It didn't take long for the rest of the pack to arrive. Well, at least most of the rest of the pack. He noted that his grandmother was absent. As Salem joined them he returned his playful nip and smiled warmly as Mati shouldered her way in between them. The last wolves to arrive were ones he hadn't met before. He stored their images in his mind to be sure to introduce himself later. He was the Commander's son, he should know all of the members of the pack.
Then Savina started the meeting. His jade eyes grew wide as she said that she and uncle Kansas were going to have babies. So that was why her tummy was so big? How interesting! He couldn't help but give a happy little yip at the news. He would have new playmates! Not only that, but since he was older he could teach them stuff as well! Like he had taught Valkyrie his question game. He wondered when the puppies would come out of Savina's tummy. Hopefully soon!
Haven listened attentively as she stressed the importance of their relations with the other pack. The pup followed her gaze to the patterned man. Had he done something bad in another pack? But the next announcement distracted him completely from that subject. As his ivory mother said that his other mother was being promoted to the leader ranks along with her and Savina. His tail wagged furiously behind him and he moved closer to Anu and put his paws up on her back. "Yay! Congrats mommy!" he exclaimed, planting a sloppy lick on her face.
