For the times, they are a-changin'

The excitement abuzz in the room was contagious, even for one who could be fairly skilled at keeping his emotions dampened to a neutral tone. While Legion could be the aloof sort when it came to the inner workings of his mind, one of the very few things to crack and open the hard shell over his heart was the young ones. And the promise of new pups was a blessing, indeed. While it wasn't really news to him, his nose and his eyes could easily tell any wolf present that she was with child, he smiled broadly and dipped his maw in recognition of the official announcement thereof. "Congratulations and may all of them prove healthy and well, Dark Lady." Again, he slipped into his common way of nicknaming rather than using ones true name.

However, with that announcement made, he perked his ears attentively at the rest. The first was a warning, and considering his recent treading of the line with Dahlia de Mai, the alabaster male kept his mouth shut. He knew what it could mean...but predicting the future was something he wasn't going to do. And he couldn't promise to keep his nose out of things....but his silent train of thought was shattered with the next announcement. A rise in rank. He hardly knew any of them, so the name rang no bells...but as she spoke her acceptance of the role, his gaze wandered to the femme and nodded lightly, thinking that the leaders knew what they were doing, and had made a worthy choice. He noted the blue-eyed grey femme, denoting her now as a figure of rank and due respect.

His eyes also drifted to the husky whom Savina seemed to pointedly assess with a derisive gaze when earlier mentioning the intolerance of pack rivalry. Hmmmm. Apparently this one had something to do with it, and he wondered if it would be a wise thing to seek him out later and learn of whatever transgression he may have made. The knowledge may prove worth the knowing.
