The male had not noticed the little changes in his life since he'd begun to push the Inferni woman away. He'd never noticed when Tyrone and Skylar had left, when Zana had disappeared or even when Iskata had passed on, why should he notice now. His stormy orbs gazed past Alexey as she began to speak, a smirk resting on his muzzle as with a raised brow she began to catch on. The golden lady was sweet enough but long enough ago without even thinking he'd probably ruined any chance of them getting any close then the span that seperated them now.

When she finally spoke up he just shook his head. "Don't put it thatway.." he said, he'd lost his mother in the process of his rise in rank and he didn't like to think about the fact that while her nephew and son might continue on the pack she'd help to start she was gone. Flicking one last tiny patch of snow from his pelt his eyes caught those of the tawny lass again as he shook his head. "It really is a pity you know.." he said again, in response to the fact that she didnt' belong to his pack.

He took a step towards the lady as he contemplated just what he could do to get his revenge on the woman who's so wrecklessly targetted him for her amusement. A slight grin spread across his maw as he chuckled. "We could pretend though.." he said lightly, knowing there was no way she'd pretend to be part of his pack just so he could dole out the punishment she deserved. He knew if he didn't get her now that there was probably little chance in the future that he could seek the revenge she deserved.

He'd been about to take another step when everything seemed to disolve and her very manner changed. DaVinci raised a brow as a frown settled on his lips. He had no clue what she was talking about but it didn't surprise him, he'd been so caught up in the affairs of Phoenix Valley that he hadn't really had much of a chance to try and visit his sister again since the last time he'd run into Cercelee. DaVinci meerly shook his head and admitted. "Things.. have been less than perfect in Phoenix Valley this winter.. I haven't had the time to keep up with the other packs.." His eyes shifted away towards his own packlands as he settled back against the rough bark of the tree again, waiting for an explaination of what Firefly should have told him. "What's going on?" he asked, the playful manner left behind for a moment in time.
