get yourself together

Sankor just sighed and shook his head when her words piped up from the next row of tombstones. The male lowered his gaze as he cut between two markers and began walking down the path towards where the voice had risen from. He really hated when she played at these games and though he knew that technically she was right, she was still the same sister he'd left behind underneith it all. His paws crunched softly on the snow as his breath frosted the air before him as he spoke. "How can you say that?" he asked.

He could tell now where she was perched but he didn't advance any further as he sat down on his haunches and softly called out. "You're still my sister aren't you?" She'd always be that to him, no matter what they argued about or who was playing the victim. He didn't exactly know how to approach this new strange problem at hand though, he'd never really spent much time around puppies and had been surprised to find his sister taking up the role of caregiver to the young ones. He just gazed out at the lonely cemetery and said simply. "I'm sorry Lexey.." He knew the words couldn't fix anything but he was sorry for it all, for the time he's missed out on getting to know her more and the emotions she must be feeling now. Why did he always have to seem like the jerk who was emotionless when really he cared too much.
