get yourself together

He had always been rather surprised that his siblings hadn't questioned him on just where he'd gone and why he'd disappeared so long ago. The happy go lucky male did have a darker side, but unlike the rest of the world he never let those that knew him see the hurt and pain that he too wasn't immune to. In the quiet of the graveyard he waited for the voice of his sister to speak up and yet it never came. He let out a soft sigh, the frail puff of air hanging in the cold as he moved forward, to uncover the hiding place she'd taken when she'd discovered he was roaming the lands the same as she'd been.

He didn't say anything though as he stood there in the darkness and waited. He was a patient man and could wait all night and day til she came forward. She didn't move though, but he was greeted with soft words as his golden orbs turned towards his sister as she spoke. Her voice so soft and frail, unlike the sister he'd know so long. They had changed, he knew that but he didn't want to admit it. He wanted his sister back, if he had to accept the changes, good and bad to get her he could deal.

His ears pinned back against his skull as he said softly, "You'd be a fool not to be.. and I know my Lexey's no fool." He couldn't help it, it was in his nature to butter her up. It didn't matter who it was he was speaking to or about he always spoke the same. He took a step towards his sister as he smiled gently at her, hoping to coax a smile back from the woman, though he knew he had his work cut out for him. "We'll get them back.." He knew he shouldn't even say it but he couldn't help it. He couldn't stand to see his own sister turn into his frail being, it just wasn't her.
