As DaVinci touched his ear to double check the placement that he wanted Haven nodded his head. "Yup, right there." He couldn't wait to see what it looked like. "When did you get your piercings?" Had his uncle been his age? Or older? The youth hadn't seen too many people with piercings so he was interested in the reasons people got them. He had his reason, but what were other's? Did they get them for similar occasions? Or just for no particular reason at all? He supposed he could think of quite a few reasons someone would want them. Maybe it would tell him something he didn't know about his uncle.
Without the warning the kid was completely relaxed before the needle was pushed through his ear. As he felt it and heard the cartilage break his fingers dug into the cushion of the couch and he clenched his jaw slightly. He didn't make any noise though. It had hurt, true enough, but it could have been worse. And...it was over. He felt DaVinci dab at his ear with the soaked cloth and question him. "Nah, it wasn't that bad. A surprise though!" he said with a chuckle. Tentatively a hand reached up to gently feel the ring that now adorned his ear. A wide grin spread over his lips as he looked at his uncle. "Awesome, thanks DaVinci!" |
