Out of Character

Details are fine with me! As far as wounds for Kol go, anything goes, short of permanent injury/maiming. Scars are fine, minor breaks, that sort of thing. She needs to be in decent shape for another upcoming plot, lol! <33333

In Character

It was overwhelming, the scent of fresh blood. Kol had come to Whisper Beach for a respite from her endless search for Dahlia's puppies, and that peace had lasted for awhile. But now, as she made her way back toward Dahlia, her weary body confined to its lupine form to conserve the remainder of her energy. It had been days since she'd properly slept, all of her attention having been focused on finding Conor and Emwe. If it weren't for the knowledge that she was doing everything in her power to find them, the girl would have been full of self-loathing at her inadequacy. Yet it seemed as though everyone else was having about as much luck as she was, which was to say absolutely none. It was almost as if the two boys had been swallowed up by some invisible monster, leaving behind neither hide nor hair of evidence. The image of said conjecture left Kol with a bitter taste in her mouth, and the undeniable scent of fresh blood was hardly helping.

As she wandered a little ways toward the source of the scent, a torn carcass finally came into view. It was a male coyote, still warm, his throat torn cleanly from his body. The kill had been savage in nature, undoubtedly done by a wolf, and Kol felt no remorse for the sad remains of her smaller cousin. Walking a bit farther, however, a much more gruesome scene met her violet eyes. They widened in shock and horror, her stomach threatening to lurch at the sight of the dying female laying before her, her insides torn apart and splayed about her in wild fashion. This death was hardly quick nor clean, and she couldn't help but pity the small woman as she lay gasping. Unaware so far of the monster lurking nearby, Kol approached the dying woman and quickly closed her fangs around her jugular, releasing the last of the coyote's life blood and setting her free from the agony she'd been suffering.

She was about to leave the sorry remains of the bitch behind, when another scent struck her. It was bathed in blood and bore the mark of the coyote, but it belonged to neither the male nor the female that lay broken on the ground. Another scent joined the first, followed by a third belonging unmistakably to a wolf, and a growl rumbled in the Stormbringer's chest. As she turned in the direction of the new smells, her anger erupted into full blown fury. The change came quickly, her body growing and twisting until she halted the process at her secui form, every black hair standing on end as she faced the wolf with the bloodstained maw. The scattered remains of the half-eaten pups were before him, their tawny forms suddenly taking on the visages of two all-too-familiar missing children. Violet eyes blazing with rage, Kol launched herself with all her might at the form of the puppy-killed, intent on doing whatever damage she could as she fought to obliterate the beast's existence upon the earth.
