DaVinci had figured that his luck would of course run out like it always seemed to do the closer he got to the edge of Inferni. His quiet thoughts were lingering on his mind once more as the scent of the Aquila came in contact with his sensitive nose. Stormy orbs turned towards the approaching form that seemed so threatening and yet the calm that rolled through the Savant's mind for once didn't seem to care what the leader was roaring about this time. DaVinci knew the male was deadly but the constant snarls and roars were getting old, he was beginning to be reminded of a lion, the damn beast standing just out of reach and issuing threats and insults from across the river, except, there was no river and he was no large cat past his prime.

Those lying blue eyes turned toward Gabriel as he spoke quietly. "If you'd noticed.. these lands don't belong to you.." He knew he was being brass and that he was close enough to Inferni's lands to be considered a threat, if he actually was one. Gabriel should know by now that the silver hybrid meant no harm to anyone within the clan, except perhaps Hybrid, but that was another matter. He was tired of Gabriel acting like he was the bad guy in every role and every scene, DaVinci wasn't some monster come to terrorize his precious clan, if anyone had the right to be outraged it was DaVinci himself, but instead for the most part the male had ceased to care, he had after all let the girl go...

...whither she came back to him in the end was what made his heart ache so and yet in the slow tick of time marching on was what made the Savant of Phoenix Valley a little reckless in the choices he'd made recently.
