Aww, it's fine! Sounds good to me! And sorry for making you wait, mate. I saw the thread when you first put it up, but I never have the time to reply on weekends. So sorry! @_@

Coli was in a rare good mood, feeling at peace with the world around her. Deuce and Tal had taken charge of little Willow, for the time being, and she had not encountered a single soul all day. That sort of solitude was a welcome relief to the introverted girl, as was the imminent changing of the seasons. The solstice had already passed, but the snows were still struggling to keep their frozen chokehold on the coastal packland. Slowly but surely, though, the ice was losing. Large patches of muddy grass were poking up all around Wolfville, and from the gutters of the deserted houses, there was a steady dripping noise of melting icicles.

Brushing her silky hair from her delicate muzzle, the lithe werewolf padded along the weather-worn path leading towards the copse of forest. If she could find some bulbs, she could already start cultivating daffodils and narcissus, and maybe even snowdrops if she was lucky... A slight pang of guilt struck her chest as she thought of her new adoptive family. They would surely not approve of her growing her flowers where Willow could find them... After all, the only flowers Coli had an affinity for were the ones poisonous to canines. It was a morbid fascination, meant to be a harmless hobby, but potentially fatal to the little ones in their pack. She would have to find some other place to grow her plants, somewhere no one else would stumble across them. Crestfallen by this realization, the slender female paused in her meandering. It was then that she noticed she was not alone.

The melting snows put great pressure on the trees of the forest, some of which were weakened by storms and internal faults. There were branches scattered all about the ground, and the occasional fallen tree crossed the path. One such tree, a conifer of some sort, lay nearby, and a broad-shouldered werewolf stood inspecting it. Coli caught her breath, slinking behind the cover of a wide-trunked spruce. Had he seen her? No, he seemed preoccupied with the tree... His deep ruddy fur was shaggy, wilder than the others she'd seen in the pack so far. He was a newcomer...? Or at least a male she had not yet encountered. Coli narrowed her blue eyes, trying to decide if he would go away, or if she would have to reveal herself to him. She had been brave enough to hold a conversation with Sankor, and to go seek out Jasper, but something about this rugged Optime had her heart fluttering anxiously. He did not speak as she crouched behind him, nervously weighing her options. He looked pretty fit - he could probably catch her if she made a break for it. She would have to try and talk her way out of it. She was close enough to the town that someone would hear her shout for help, she wagered. As long as that someone was not Haku, she should be alright. Swallowing nervously, the slim young lady took a hesitant step from her hiding place, meekly stammering, "H... hello there... sir?"
