Wait for a new day, a new year.

A quite glance between the young fey and Anu's relaxed posture assured Moose that everything was okay. Not that he had expected to attack a creature so inexperienced in the world, nor to trump his superior's actions with rash ones of his own.

Seating himself next to Anu, he studied the small coyote. Her pelt was muddied from her ascent into the territory, and she seemed very driven. Her words spoke of Haven, whom Moose to be Anu's son despite having never met him. Mentally noting again the scent of Inferni in his nares, he allowed his eyes and mind to drift along the landscape.

He had never been in this area before, not long enough to truly study it. The rippling of water reached his ears from a distance, and he knew the river that ran along the edge of the rocks was nearby. That was another place he was heading to see today; the Wild had heard there was a multitude of small waterfalls that fell as the river dropped elevation.
