YAY ROMANNNCEE!

Never had he been so angry before. He'd never been so angry in his life and along with that fury came a deep sense of helplessness. He wanted revenge, but with that yearning came the knowledge that he didn't represent any part of Kol. She wasn't his, not in the way that he wanted her to be. And she laid no claim to him either, something that cut deep, but there was nothing he could do. Not down that avenue, anyway. But he could go to her, vulnerable as ever, but with an offer of comfort, and a few more flowers, those could never hurt. But as easy as it appeared for him to be 'just friends' with Kol, on the inside Eli was raw. He'd given himself to her in every possible way, and none of that seemed to matter to her. She was still incapable of believing that he wouldn't leave her, that he wasn't just in it for the few night stands. But he wasn't. He was in it for the long run, she just couldn't see it yet. Would she ever? All he could do was keep trying.

It was with that determination instilled within him that Elliot took off from his tree house, stubbornly headed in the direction of Kol's house. He'd never felt truly at home there, whether it was a result of Kol's roller coaster reactions to him, or the fact that the house itself was very human, he wasn't sure. All he knew is that his tree house felt like home, and his den beneath the tree would be even more comfortable, as soon as he could make it. Spring was coming on strong but it wasn't nearly warm enough to fully defrost the ground. He'd have to wait. Anyway, there were more important matters that needed to be tended to, the object of his desire being the foremost one.

Originally Elliot had planned on going through the front door, knocking politely to show just how much of a good boy his was. But no sooner had the male made it up the crooked steps he changed his mind. Knocking would only give Kol a chance to turn him away and he didn't want that. He had a better chance of being able to stick around if he possessed the element of surprise. So the window it was. He silently made his way to the back of the house, moving stealthily in the evening's light. When he was sure that he was at the right window, the massive male slid it open effortlessly, calling out to his friend. He slipped through the opening as graceful as he possibly could, which was clumsy at best. There was a loud thump as his rear-end landed on the hardwood floor, a whoosing oof! escaping his maw. But other than that, there wasn't much damage accomplished. So as quickly as ever, he was back on his feet, worried eyes narrowing in on the one he loved most in the world. They widened in pain as he took in her injuries, worry quickly turning into smoldering anger. Whoever did this to her would pay, he was sure of it. But in the mean time, he needed to care for her.

Elliot crossed the room in two quick strides, depositing the flowers in place of an old bouquet he'd given her earlier in the week. The old flowers were cast aside and he sidled up to the edge of her bed, kneeling swiftly to be at her side. From the pack that hung across his shoulders he procured a cloth and his water sac, dampening the fabric before laying it across Kol's forehead. He bent over and quickly brushed his lips across her face, moving as fast as he could so she couldn't protest. I'm gonna take care of you, okay? He posed it as a question when really it was just a statement. Kol had no say in this. He was here to stay.
