HII.

Elliot Oriel was at a complete loss. It was true that this was entirely new territory for him, but was every being who ventured into such territory this lost? He had a sinking feeling that suggested this wasn't the case. However, there wasn't much he could do about the whole thing, aside from pushing onward, hoping to strike some good luck. But as much as he wished for that to happen, a part of Elliot insisted on being rational. And that rationale insisted that things were going to remain the same between him and Kol, no matter how hard he tried to make it otherwise.

It was these thoughts that clouded his mind as he walked, his meandering gait showing no signs of slowing. Nor did his appearance show any signs of him knowing where he was. All he knew was that it was a little ways from home and that he was in a forest of sorts, but that was about it. What did it matter, anyway? It wasn't as if he had anyone at home waiting for his return. He could be gone for as long as he wanted and no one would notice. Hell, he could never return and it wouldn't make a difference. What sullen, sulky thoughts he had.
