Vexx was as drunk as you could get without killing himself. He had stopped drinking the rum, although as his drunkenness would pass he'd continued to drink the liquid. Then the wolf started talking about shifting. What was this guy talking about. What are ya talkin' 'bout? What the feck is shiftin'? Did this guy know something he didn't? The hybrid didn't like people being more up to date than he was. He liked being on top of things. (That's what she said!)
Vexx didn't know what they were talking about anymore. He was so drunk out of his mind he forgot everything then. WHAT? WHO IS GABRIEL? Vexx had to shout because he could swear he couldn't hear anything. He looked around the room, everything seemingly out of order.
