Ares had yet to explore his new pack lands fully and was determined to do that soon. After all he needed to know this territory like the back of his paw if he ever wanted to contribute anything to this great family. Even though he had only met a few others, he still considered this his new family. It was a way of escaping the harsh reality that set in every time he thought about his old pack, his siblings, his mother. Her face still brought tears to his eyes, but he couldn't let that bother him now. It was a beautiful day in beautiful lands and he needed to come to terms with what happened. How he was going to do that, he had no idea yet, but he certainly needed to.

As Ares pawed his way across the grounds, a scent of another wolf close by caught his attention. Awesome, time to make new friends, he thought to himself as he quickened his pace to where the other wolf should be. He wasn't even sure how big this pack was, but at this point he didn't care. The wolves he already met were great and he wasn't expecting anything less from the unknown wolf about to enter his field of vision. He was probably much to optimistic for his own good.

"Hello there, hope I'm not disturbing. My name is Ares, I don't believe we've met?" Ares said politely with a bow of his head in respect. Ares could see the female was hurting, or at least was hurt recently. But something in her eyes told him she didn't deserve or cause a fight. Then again, Ares could have been totally wrong in his judgement.
