Geneva swallowed, her eyes carefully scanning the space around her before she found the source of the pleasant, quiet voice. Her eyes lingered on the man before her, taking note of the dark coat. Without a functional sense of smell, she wasn't able to discern if he was a Phoenix Valley wolf. But he certainly acted as though he belonged here. He must be a newcomer, she decided. She didn't recognize him from anywhere else. She let her eyes linger over the lines of his face, down his body, memorizing his shape. It was the best way to ensure she'd recognize him next time.

"Ares," she said, testing the name. She smiled, finally raising her eyes to his face. She appreciated how he kept his distance and gave her space. She appreciated his respect. She nodded gently, before speaking, "Have you been here long?" she asked kindly.
