So, she had taken the beloved Lykoi name, foreseeing her reunion with the expanded family she had not even met. She was a hypocrite, reducing the Canis Lupus to something lesser than the type of being she was, but manipulation introduced at an early age could be quite powerful. It had been just that. The youth did not necessarily need a response back to get what she wanted. His eyes were friendly though, and she let her gaze linger pleasantly upon his face, enjoying the special attention while she had it.
The fellow’s name took the focus off the purple muzzle, but the young girl determined that his surname was worthy to be spoken out loud. "Dracon," the girl repeated soothingly. The rank meant nothing as long as she was unfamiliar with the hierarchy. She kept her pose up, accompanied by a few smooth beats from her rich tail. It was reassuring to get the vocal confirmation that she had reached her destination. ”How lovely,” the teenager expressed, wondering exactly how rich this clan really was. A light coated ear twisted to consider the man’s next words, and her smile bloomed delicately. ”Gabriel de le Poer, the infamous dog,” the girl mused, as if to herself. There was no mockery in her words. Vitium had told his children about this individual. It gave her a remarkable calm to know that her uncle held a high position here, even though she did not expect them to bond in any way.
Her face dipped slowly up and down in a reassuring nod. This was why she was here. She wanted them to offer her a home where she could embrace and understand what it truly was to be a Lykoi. Her father had whispered soothingly in her ears for months. Here they were Gods. She wanted to see souls burn. Her education required this of her.
