Private ........ The area was new to her, so it was only natural that she already had left Inferni behind temporarily to get an idea of what these lands had to offer. The youth had already determined that there were two wolf packs nearby, one to the southwest and one further south. They seemed outnumbered, and she was certain there were more groups of scum to be discovered if she wandered further west. She pondered how Inferni stayed alive, as she had lived in the belief that they were a bunch of hardcore individuals that did not step down for anyone. The dark girl was not entirely sure if she wanted to know. She’s rather avoid disappointments if she could. Gabriel had already done so by serving her a truth about her father that she had not been aware of. It had stung. It still did. ........ The girl was in her luperci form, accompanied by a pair of tattered jeans in dark blue and an armless black t-shirt with a gray skull across her chest. Wearing human clothes still felt a bit silly, but she had to admit that she liked the feeling it gave her. She felt different, and she looked rather dashing in the mirrors. Vanity was not a crime. The girl moved hesitantly towards the towering city of Halifax, unsure of what exactly she wanted from here. Exploring was one thing, but now that she was in such a rich area it would be foolish not to take advantage of it. The girl let a set of sharp nails trace the side of a human bank from the past. She was not in need of ammunition, and she didn’t want to handpick another weapon before she trusted her skills with the 9mms. ........ Halo let a short yawn embrace her face, and shook her head softly, causing her silky, copper-black hair to cover her face. The girl found a string in a pocket and gathered the unruly hair in a wild ponytail. She shook her head gleefully and messed up her heavy bangs, letting the hair fall partly over her left eye. The girl raised a finger to her mouth, hungry for something sweet. The Lykoi girl had early developed a taste for the human sweets after the family had resided near an abandoned candy store. Surely there had to be something tasty here somewhere. She started to move slightly faster, walking in the middle of the abandoned streets of the outskirts of Halifax, sugar haunting her mind. |
