___ It was nice to be home, Apollo decided. This, after all, was going to be home from now on. It was a large place for just him all alone, but he would be fine. After all, he was sure he could convince Savina and her children to stop by every once in awhile. He would love for the beach house to be filled with spunky little puppies. When the breeze came softly it touched gently at his forehead. It was blowing north off the water towards the house behind him. The smell was deliciously salty and absolutely refreshing. He let one arm fall away from his knees to support his frame as he leaned back. When the sun did set, it was going to be lovely.

___ One gauged ear twitched forwards as the hot breath trickled towards it. There was not a moment to think, yet somehow his mind had managed to do just that. It was the damned coyote, he knew it without turning to see. And unfortunately for Apollo, his coveted knife had been abandoned in the beach house behind him. If the man struck, it would be simply a battle of tooth and claw.

___ He quickly pushed his frame from the pebbled shore, twirling to see the man he knew was behind him. "You’re trespassing," Apollo snarled, knowing that wouldn’t deter Hybrid from what he wanted.
