___ It was something his father used to do, though Apollo wasn’t entirely aware of that. The young Haddix's purpose was to see more of the lake, and what better way then getting a better view? He climbed one of the trees not far from the lake’s shore, leaving his belongings carefully stashed at the base of the trunk. It took some careful maneuvering, but Apollo had a rather lithe frame. In no time at all, he had made his way at least twenty feet into the air. ___ His gaze was focused out in the middle of the lake, watching as the slight breeze caused waves to ripple along the surface. It wasn’t until he heard the splash, that Apollo cocked his head and let his gaze travel to Addison. He smirked to himself, wondering what was up with that. Slowly, but with relative ease, Apollo climbed down the branches, dropping onto his feet when his fingers were confident to let go of the last branch. "Trying to drown yourself?" He asked, figuring she couldn’t hear him regardless.
