Perhaps the next time the two wolves met Hemming would have developed a kite that was sturdier. It was certainly something he had enjoyed making, because it drew on a few different skills; weaving, spinning, and carving. And the product was fantastic. He had already pulled a couple of days of fun out of it, and hoped that Anu would be able to do the same.

"Oh, I think it's ready," the wolf responded, eyes flicking back up. The kite had been ready since the moment it was whole. The time that Hemming had it was just a trial run, and now it was off to fly with someone new. He laughed at his friend's next comment, and, finding nothing to say, just nodded, a twinkle in his eye. What a wonderful day it had been.
