A thick blanket of condensation blew from the south, repelling unwanted visitors from the ashen femme's sanctuary. Darkness reigned; it was the ideal night to commit homicide. Teal-colored orbs were visible amidst the haze, tiny flames flickering in the obscurity. There was complete silence aside from a nearby owl’s unearthly chant. It was so fitting, all of it. One key element was missing though; her blue-eyed hellion, the wicked beast feared by many. She had meticulously planned everything out; the outcome of her game plan depended solely on his ability to execute orders. The madwoman had fate in him; Haku’s inner demons made him the perfect hitman.

She could only hope for the best. Failure was not an option. If everything went according to plan, Lillith had every intention of rewarding him. This was a trial of some sort; success would certainly bring forth many opportunities. She yearned to have him by her side; the Lilium would become the partner she’d never had. Her gaze swept across the woodlands, scanning the vicinity for any movement. Doing so was useless though, given the circumstances she was presented with. The alarming amount of mist shrouding the area reduced visibility to zero. Her flair was also overshadowed, not by the cloudy fog, but by the strong aroma of eucalyptus.

Common sense coaxed her senses north, in the general direction of Dahlia de Mai. Unless he’d come from elsewhere, he would more than likely emerge from that neck of the woods. Haku had the element of surprise in this case, no doubt about it. Pressing her back to an oversized tree trunk, Lillith patiently awaited her beau’s arrival.
