Hanna lay on her back on a slight hill in Overgrowth Sunrise, her arms folded into a pillow for her head. Had she been looking, she'd have been presented with an awesome view of her favorite statue in the cemetary below, that of the Virgin Mary. As it were, she was staring up at the fluffy white clouds, deep in thought.
It had been a couple months since Haku had run her out of Dahlia de Mai for trying to help the dark male, Hiei, whom she'd not seen since they escaped. Hanna had railed at Haku for a small time when he'd made her leave without her belongings. She had feared that she would not get them back. Luckily, Lubomir had come by and escorted her back in.
She retrieved what she deemed most important, her satchels filled to brimming. She took only three books with her, two on tanning and a cookbook; her skins that she'd tanned herself; and then of course the items that regularly stayed in her satchels.
They'd briefly discussed the tattoo he'd requested, and she'd agreed that if he'd give her the colors he wished and would draw the word he wanted so she had a template, Hanna would do the tattoo as soon as she got the ingredients together. She'd started looking just after.
Thinking of Lubomir made her wonder how Mew was doing. She hadn't seen her niece in a fair amount of time, which saddened her. As her aunt, she should have kept in touch better, with Haku as well as with Mew. Hanna turned over, staring at the packland below. She debated calling out for Mew, but as large as the Dahlian packlands were now, there was no guarantee Mew would hear her. In the end, Hanna ended up dozing off under the warm sun.
