The lightning, frightening yellow bolts of light that jolted down from the sky in zig zags, was magnificent. She watched the "show" transfixed, moved by its simultaneous beauty and danger; what was most peculiar about this display of lightning was that there was no rain. She was normally so used to seeing both acts of nature present at the same time so it came as a shock that one could, after all, be present sans its counterpart; Mantra couldn't even remember when she'd last seen such an awesome spectacle as this without being semi-asleep. Her light blue eyes reflected the streaks of radiance that fell from the heavens as they remained transfixed upon the heavens; she felt so at rest here, sitting on the Bay's shore, in complete and utter silence as this wonderful occurrence took place right in front of her.
