Little Zana couldn't help as her ears flicked back in annoyance at the happy child. She wasn't use to others being wanting to be close or even happy but after a moment she was able to control her disgust and oddly enough it turned into a bit of curiosity. She narrowed her eyes slightly as she studied the small boy, knowing that he would probably need to be taken to one of the leaders and disposed of properly. She did not need another mouth to feed and she knew the silly overexcited boy would not be able to climb into her home, besides she doubted the leaders would saddle her with the whelp anyways, she barely stood over him now.

She frowned as his tail began to wave a mile a minute, not knowing what exactly she should do next, hardly able to remember her own day of joining the clan. She scratched behind her ear and after a moment shook her head. "You're crazy kid." she said as she began to pick at the ribbon in her tail, slowly turning to eye the boy as she remarked rather haughty. "You did not find me, I found you." For once getting to play the superior creature, even if it was only over a child.

She finally picked out a bit of unraveling thread from the ribbon before she finally decided to ask a question. "Where is your mother? Why looking for others, you have family, no?" The little lady didn't care if she made the puppy cry or not, if she brought up unhappy memories and turned the pup into a pitiful whining and moaning annoyance. If that happened she'd just whack him over the head with a rock and drag him back to Gabriel, claiming no knowledge of what happened. She'd been forced to grow a backbone, she could practice tough love on others too.. or no love, either one worked well for her.
