She lifted her head and closed her eyes, a large yawn parting her thin black lips. She laid her head back down on her paws and let her eyelids settle. Moments later, another large male was in the cave opening, and she peered at him as he shook off and approached her. She shrunk down and hugged all her extremities close as he sniffed her. She listened to his voice, which seemed more commanding than the young male’s before him. This must be Gabriel. "My name is Diavo. Are you Gabriel?" She let her tail sweep slowly on the cave floor, trying to appear that she meant respect, but she was also warming up to all these new people. |
