Others arrived and Lysander looked over them, taking in the faces for further reference. He would remember them, if only because they were his packmates. He noted that most of them knew Jefferson and as Jefferson announced that a certain female was the second in command most of them politely congratulated her. Lysander himself did not say anything, he merely looked over her and moved on, uninterested but not appearing so. Lysander preferred to be a fly on the wall, a silent participate. He would watch and learn about all of them in turn, while keeping all his own secrets to himself. It wasn't that he purposefully tried to hide anything it was only that he didn't have to be the same person one day to the next, today he was quiet, reserved and aloof. This self suited him as comfortably as the loud, lying, crazy creature he could also be.

It was only when Asariel approached him did he break his silence, a smirk on his maw. He noted that it hadn't been any sort of burden to pull herself away from the male she had been at the side of, and he was quickly forgotten, unimportant. Steel eyes met her's, his voice warm and whimsical. "Hard work, of course." Lysander made a fist, the joints in his fingers cracking. Despite having wanted to know what the purpose of the call was all about, he wasn't too keen on the arranged meet and greet. Eyes wandered over to the others, to make sure their attention was still on Jefferson and Geneva. His voice dropped as he whispered in the lady's ear, making sure that only she could hear him and just barely. "This is boring, you want to go find something more fun?" He smiled and looked back to the others, giving he impression of listening with rapt attention.
