Asariel was quite taken aback by Lysander's question. She cast a furtive glance at Jefferson and absently inched closer to Ly when Jeff suggested they introduce themselves to each other. Normally that would've sounded like a great idea to the woman, seeing as she was always in the mood to meet new wolves. But now she was tempted to stay by the man that she had recently acquired as a friend. Was he a friend? She supposed that yes, he was. She was uneasy about his offer suddenly; how did she know that he meant well? However she reasoned that everyone else that she had met so far had meant her no harm so what made Lysander any different?

She smirked. "Very well," she said breathed in his ear, quietly so he, and only he, could hear. She flicked her tail, twisting an ear back towards the others to pick up snippets of their conversation, trying to make out if they had noticed the two. Momentarily relieved that they hadn't, she turned her eyes back on Lysander and stared at him. He was very complex and whimsical, and she was yearning to figure him out some more. Her worried mind chided her. Remember, he might not mean well.

Shut up.
