Frowning, Char wondered what the hell was wrong with this cow. He'd been in a strange spot, to say the least—and he was covered in paint! Sighing, the wolf crossed his arms, waiting for the animal to take note of him. After a few more moments of confusion, the bull turned toward the wolf, and seemed about to charge him. Readying himself, Char tensed up, his indigo eyes flaring wide in fear. He didn't want to have to leave his stuff there, but if he didn't distract the bovine or get him away, he'd never get it back! The pallid wolf watched in amazement as the poor cow fell right over onto his side, and the loner winced at the audible thud as the animal hit the ground. His ears and tail drooped, and he crept toward the downed animal. What the hell was he supposed to do now? The silver canine edged closer to the animal, feeling very bad for it. It looked so sad and pathetic there on its side, thrashing around on the ground. Char was supposed to eat things like Cow, but he was a dumb animal himself, and he really only wanted to help. Whining softly, the wolf got a sudden idea. Maybe if he got a little water, the cow would think he knew where more water was, and he would be able to drink and wash himself off? The wolf darted off again, and returned in short order with a cracked, dirty mug with the handle missing, a bit of the creekwater in the bottom of it. The wolf ran back to the animal, rather unceremoniously dumping the cup of water into the bovine's face, immediately skittering back again in case he suddenly figured out how to get to his feet. |
