Doing shorter posts so this thread can finish, I'm sure you're eager to post around anyway The femme was polite and seemed a bit baffled by his presence, probably given his position. Dawali was used to newcomers at first encounter behaving somewhat awkwardly or nervously around him, but most put such tendencies away after some time as a member. Smiling at her as she asked her question, Dawali knew that he did not have to go through the whole process - Catherine had likely asked her some key questions already. Hopefully this could be easily over with, so that the female might get settled in and find somewhere in the village to claim as her own. Nodding, he replied with a warm voice, glancing at Catherine when he mentioned her name. "Nice to meet you, Claire. I'm sure Catherine here has asked you most of the necessary things. Are there any particular skills you have, that we might benefit from?" It would be good if Claire might fit into some of the vacant worker areas right now. For every function in the tribe that went unfilled, he had to fill that position - and right now he was filling a lot of positions. It was good for him though, hindered him in thinking too much about things he would rather not think about. Subconsciously, his one hand reached to his lower back and scratched it a little, then rested there. The still healing scars tickled sometimes.
