Cages, more cages! The girl hummed pleasantly under her breath while she strode into the pet store. The door had been made out of glass, which at one point had been shattered by something gods knew what. The girl was elegant as she was beautiful, and danced around the pieces of glass like the wicked angel she was. Creatures had harvested the city heavily, but it seemed like Halo was one of the first to collect cages. She wanted to continue with her rodents. To keep them only to eat wolves was a silly thing. After she had started to feed them, they had begun to reproduce, and Halo was determined to screw those little brains up. No matter how lowly people thought of the rodents, they were actually clever things. The girl reached out for one of the better cages, one of those worth a few extra bucks just because it looked more glamorous than the rest and offered food bowl and one of those odd round things that the rodents ran around in to get exercise.
She stretched and scratched the bottom side of the cage, but it seemed she was destined not to reach it. The girl growled under her breath, but this was not a problem that would remain unsolved for long. She knew what she wanted: that cage, but decided to browse the shop a bit more. The pet food on the shelves was way outdated. On the lowest shelves, hungry animals had raided, but she miraculously found some untouched stuff here and there. Awesome. She normally offered her pets raw flesh, but there would be some of them that would be treated differently from now on.
