She had puppy-whackers of all shapes and sizes, and couldn't decide what one he might be most interested in. Something big and shiny? Hmm. Ember grabbed a bow and some arrows off the wall, turning back to the youngster. "It might not seem like much, but I'm going to start with a basic bow and arrows. The arrows are pretty shiny, on the top..." She put it on the ground in front of him, pulling the string back a little to demonstrate its elasticity. "It takes some strength to be able to use it correctly, to pull it back with enough force...but that applies to all of these weapons. They all take some strength to use." |
