Blue eyes blinked as she watched the male. In all her years, in which Anu had many, she had never encountered any beast like this. In their world it was not easy to live without one of the senses. The male must have had a protective family, to not allow the male to be picked off as a pup. Sheltered, perhaps. It could be the reason for his innocent and childlike demeanor. Anu only watched as he gestured in the air, and listened to Savi as she spoke. Slowly, so that he could read the shapes their lips made. When the Commander grew unsettled Anu could tell that she was eager to return to the task that she had left. Anu stood and spoke, “Welcome.” with a smiled on her face. Now that the paper had been read and his rank given Anu would be able to show him around the Manor and let him get settled.
