ooc: Hey! I suppose Noir is in her Optime?

Catherine was wandering around all by herself for what seemed to be the first time in so long. She was in shock, with both her hands in her slightly concaved belly, beneath her navel. Her eyes were popped up at their limit, that image paused in front of them. The grayish female could see it as clear as she saw her path. The tiny seedling in the seeds that Dawali had gave her. He was right. She was pregnant.

In her hands, she could feel the weight of a brand new life building up inside her. Almost like a pulse. It was a new sensation; delightful and awful at the same time. What if she couldn't handle it. What if she would turn out to be a bad mother? What if she failed? What if...?

The grayish woman felt the sobs take on her, her eyes burning with the sudden burst of tears. Hiding her face from the world with both hands, she landed her back on the closest tree and cried, nearly depressed. What had she done?! That stupid addict to alcohol had caused that reckless night with Leland, and the consequences. She was such an idiot! So idiot she would make an innocent, fragile creature have all that regret on its shoulder. Could she do that? Would she?

No. No way. If there was something she couldn't, nor wouldn't, was to charge her wrongs on others. If there was consequences, she would take it. After a minute to control herself, she continued to walk, still trying to erase the image of a baby wolf inside her belly from her mind.

A few minutes later, a familiar scent got in her conscience. She knew that smell. Noir.

Who seeks, finds, and she soon found the blond juvenile, down into her waist in the water, a bit hesitant for something. Drawing closer to the riverside, she felt worried. What was wrong?

Noir? Are you okay? She called for the girl a bit louder than a normal tone, but lower than a shout, or a yell. She jumped, startled, when she heard a tiny, pitch quack behind her. Lifting up a leg, she noticed a baby duck, racing to the water with awkward paces. This was getting weirder each minute.
